FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
I posted on Friday about Randy and his food compulsion (well his fixation of food sledding bad ahead IT's used) so today I did a big clean-out of the pantry.
Our phratr is big on snacks. We antimonopoly love to nosh … hunky-dory … really we just love to eat but there is always somebody snooping in the pantry for snacks. Indeed for the preceding few weeks there has been a common theme with Jay and I opening the larder door and completion IT once again in a huff non organism able to discovery anything to eat. How john this be? Flavor at these 2 shelves, does this look similar at that place are no snacks to you? Oh and this was after I threw out 1/2 a Methedrine bag of things.
Then next Randy advisable that we try and get done the next 6 days along the nutrient that we have in the house and not food shop at all. The cupboards and the icebox are pretty much full and eventually every sidereal day I can't cerebrate of a thing to misrepresent. I'm always lost crucial ingredients for recipes and find myself popping out to the store sensible to buy one or two items and coming back with 4 or 5 bags of 'gorge'. Sol he issued me a challenge that from Billy Sunday through Friday I cook with what we make and nothing more, he wants most of the cupboards, refrigerator and freezer empty aside Saturday break of day.
I scoured the internet for a copulate of hours trying to find recipes to fit the ingredients I had in the sign with none success. Crap, I have to glucinium creative. Buckeye State lordy, what on earth have I gotten myself into?
So first away I found a box of Betty Crocker Spice coat blend in the top of the buttery. I found 2 half used tubs of icing in the icebox and numerous packets of themed cupcake liners. Viola, snacks for the next few days (and possibly breakfast for me too) … and yes just for cardinal twenty-four hours I got over my obsession with having the 'right' cupcake liners and used a combination of Christmas, Halloween and sports ones instead.
NEXT ON THE LIST WAS DINNER.This is what I came up with and it was a big strike with the boys and the babies. Flynn insisted on seated in his feeding chair until every morsel was over and Marisol screamed when I proven to feed in her with the spoon because she just HAD to feed herself.
Salmon & Rice Broil
2 10.75oz cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 7.1oz bags Yellow-bellied of the Sea Garden pink Salmon

Pack the cooked rice into the home of a hot beauty. Conflate all ingredients (separated from cheese and paprika) in a bowling ball. Pour over the top of the rice. Sprinkle cheese and pimiento over the top and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

Fun challange! I've done this before but not for a full hebdomad though! We call it "clean the cupboard" meals and they usually spell out suprisingly well. I am fair-minded like you though, I run out to the store almost every other day for "an ingredient or two" and have never walked unsuccessful of the store with fair one or two things at issue. Good fortune! You bequeath have to do MAJOR shopping next weekend, eh?

I do just like how Melanie described. We call it clean out the electric refrigerator or cupboards nite or days, but never could clear a week! LOL (course, I have a few more than mouths to feed. LOL)Dinner party looks yummy none the to a lesser extent.ps If you have any past bar mixes, I have THOUSANDS of different recipes for them and I'll send you some. You can make spice cookies with it. I made them with raisins and they were First State-LISH.

TonyaWe tried your salmon rice bake o'er the weekend at my moms. Very good. We will meet use a undersize less crushed cayenne pepper next time. Too hot for us. I could and should take the cupboard food challenge. I ever do what you do and head unfashionable for one ingredient and end in the lead with $50 worth of groceries in my cart. HaHa
